Hello Tantyman,

If you have updated to 12.5.1, you will need to install the latest version of our drivers. You can find the drivers for 12.5.1 on our Canon USA support page using the link HERE. In the list of drivers and software, you will want to download and install the recommended drivers. Once the drivers have been download and installed, you can click the apple in the upper left and go into system preferences. In system preferences you can go into printers and scanners. You can use the - at the bottom of the printer list to remove the printer and then you can add it back to the list.

My wife recently updated the OS on her iMac to 12.5.1 and now the printer only prints blank pages from PDF or text edit documents. I have OS 12.5 on my laptop and it works fine. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a print driver update to remedy this issue? Is there a problem with the 12.5.1 update changing the printer control panel?

Thanks
