imageCLASS MF3010 Blinking "o" on Display Screen

After installing the hardware and software to my laptop, I only see a blinking "o" on the display screen. And, no other buttons do anything when pressed? Perhaps, I didn't install from the CD correctly? First time using this, since I just bought it today. Any help?

If the display has a flashing 0 on the display, it will usually mean that the printer is processing a command or the compartment for the toner is not closed all the way. What version of the Mac or Windows operating system are you using on your computer?
Do you get an error when you try to print or scan?
