topic Maxify MB2320 has a mind of it's own! in Office Printers

My Maxify MB2320 has started to do things all on its own. It will not boot up. It only goes as far as turning on, showing only the word Maxify on the display screen, the paper feeder spins and spins, the triangle light goes on and then it shuts off. Intermittently it will also feed out several pieces of blank paper together then shut off and it does this over and over unless unplugged. It won't turn on or off with the power button. I've unplugged it from the strip and plugged it into the wall directly. I pulled everything out and reattached and it will not stop. HELP or just let me know its time for a new printer.

Same printer, same boat. Just noticed the Canon "service Notice" regarding this problem. Downloaded the firmware, followed instructions, and that seems to have fixed the issue. Critical to kill internet access of the printer or the update won't work.

https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/Desktop-Inkjet-Printers/Service-Notice-Canon-Inkjet-Printer-continuous-reboot-loop-or/td-p/374600
