My relatively new printer shows this message. No other selections are available. I reset canon cartridges (have always used canon). Unplugged, Tried "updates". Nothing. Left off for several days. Any suggestions?

Hello Alannelson,

If the printer is stuck at cleaning the fixing assembly, it looks like something is wrong with the hardware. You can try unplugging the printer from the power and then pressing the power button 10 times while the printer is unplugged. After that, you can plug the printer into a different power source and you can try turning it on.
