Hello Greg12321

The automatic feed cleaning is to clean the feeder at the top that you load stack of documents into. If you are getting smudging/bleeding, I would suggest cleaning the ITB and the Fixing assembly.. You can also try removing the toner and checking the inside of the printer for any toner power that has leaked.

If cleaning the ITB and the fixing assembly does not resolve the issue, it looks like there is something wrong with the hardware. You can use the link HERE to access your My Canon account and check your service options or you can call support at 1-800-652-2666

My feed roller appears to have ink bleed out on it which is ghost printing each new page. Went to clean it, but the Feed Cleaner Start button isn't doing anything. You press "Start" (after loading 10 pieces of paper) and it does... nothing.

All other cleaning functions work fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Greg
