topic Scanning with Imageclass D530 in Office Printers

I have recently updated to Windows 11. My D530 is connected and prints perfectly. However, when I try to scan I get the following message: "Cannot communicate with the scanner". Baffling to me because the scanner is connected and working just fine as a printer. Is there a solution to this?

Hello DMan48,

If you have recently updated to Windows 11 and are no longer able to scan, I would suggest downloading and installing the recommended drivers for the the D530(UFRII/Scangear) using the link HERE. Once you download the install, you can turn off any running security software and begin the installation. Once the setup has completed, you can try to scan again to see if it works.
