      <title>MF743cdw Duplex scan print defect</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We have just installed a refurbished MF743cdw.&amp;nbsp; Everything is connected and seems to be working well.&amp;nbsp; Today I attempted to complete a duplex scan.&amp;nbsp; I get a 2 and 7/8 inch solid print defect centered from top to bottom down the rear page.&amp;nbsp; This defect appears on both B&amp;amp;W and color options.&amp;nbsp; It is possible to make out some of the text within the defect band.&amp;nbsp; It is like there is something obstructing the center top side scanning mechanism.&amp;nbsp; Any suggestions?&amp;nbsp; Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Its a warranty replacement from Canon.&amp;nbsp; The ADF is free and clear to my eye.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This sounds like an issue with the ADF.&amp;nbsp; The printer has a 3yr warranty and a RMA replacement should be covered under the same term.&amp;nbsp; As painful as it might be, you'll need to contact Canon again and give them an opportunity to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.&amp;nbsp; If they can't, I'm sure you'll get another device.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
