Print density is much lighter along one edge than it is on the rest of an 8-1/2" x 11" page.

I tried rocking the toner cartridge, as recommended, to no avail. Replacing the toner cartridge hasn’t solved the problem either.

What should I try next?

Hello Wolffen,

If the print is coming out unevenly and you have already removed the toner and rocked the cartridge. It looks like there is something wrong with the printer hardware or there is a chance that there is a problem with the toner. In this situation, you can try cleaning the printer's fixing assembly using the steps in the link provided HERE. If that does not resolve the issue, it will usually mean the printer needs service.

You can use the link provided HERE to access your My Canon account to see what service options are available.
