I am trying to connect my Canon MF4800 to Lenova Laptop. It says I need a driver.

1. How is the printer connected to the computer? Is it connected directly with a USB cable or wirelessly over the network?

2. If connected by USB, was the printer connected to the computer while you installed the drivers?
