Can I lower or turn off the sound on a MF642cdw printer?

I just purchased a MF642cdw printer and it makes a loud, obnoxious beep when it completes any function, such as printing. Is there any way to turn off that sound or lower it??? Thanks!

Yes. See page 180 (Setting Sounds) in the User Manual.

Hello CAPTKirk,

The sound setting that you will want to chage is for the Job Done tone and you can reduce the volume or turn it off using the steps in the link found HERE.

Thanks, Hector, but I had so many connectivity issues that I returned the printer. I direct at least 2-3 hours with Canon support. Ridiculous...
