      <description>&lt;P&gt;No idea what happened, but scan and send to email for gmail stopped working.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyone have standard settings?&amp;nbsp; Do I need 2 part authentication for google?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How can I decode the error message? I can't find an error code.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Canon SMTP Settings&lt;/P&gt;&lt;TABLE&gt;&lt;TBODY&gt;&lt;TR&gt;&lt;TD&gt;smtp.gmail.com&lt;/TD&gt;&lt;/TR&gt;&lt;/TBODY&gt;&lt;/TABLE&gt;&lt;P&gt;Username = email address&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;password = good app password that I generated&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have 2 part verification turned on in Google (I can turn this off if it helps the printer settings)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have App Password turned on, and generated a password for Canon&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you are still unable to scan to Gmail, I would suggest turning the two factor&amp;nbsp;authentication setting&amp;nbsp;off and making sure that the option to use less secure apps is turned on. If you still have issues scanning to your Gmail, I would suggest contacting our support team at 1-800-652-2666. Our agents would be happy to help.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
