Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help.

Basically, when I use the automatic document feeder (ADF) for scanning or making a copy of 1 document, the printer scans bits and pieces of the document and prints it out in multiple pages. This problem doesn't happen when I'm using the flatbed scanner, only when I use the ADF.

Any one know what could be wrong?

Hello Maximus_55,

In this situation it looks like there might be something wrong with the ADF on the MF22dw. There is a chance that the paper size is incorrect in the MFtoolbox that controls the scanner. You can try adjusting the settings using the steps in the link provided HERE. You can try setting the paper size to the specific size of the document and then try a scan to see if it works.

If the scans are still coming through in bits and pieces, it looks like the MF227 needs service. You can contact our support team at 1-800-652-2666 for further support or to check your service options.

Did this answer your question?
