Our iPF5000 is showing this error on powerup. The head carriage locks with the heads at the far right, and there are no menu functions.

BY pressing Feed Select and Info while powering on I got it to do an initial motion check and pulled the power so the head carriage was accessible.

The manual says this error is "Abnormally high printhead L temperature".

I've swapped both heads, but it makes no difference.

Waiting for Canon support to respond, but has anyone seen this and solved it?

Both! Tried swapping L and R initially, then popped two other ones in. Powered off in between of course.
