topic Scanner not working in Office Printers

I have a 7000 series Canon copier/scanner/fax wired through a LAN connection to a 2020 PC operating Windows 10. I am able to print from my computer, but when I attempt to scan, the menu briefly shows a LAN option, but immediately defaults to a USB connection. I cannot get it to scan to my computer. I have removed and reinstalled the Canon twice, and have reinstalled drivers.

To be specific, the error message reads computer not connected, even though the computer will print but not scan.

Hi, m-c-evans!

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using. Your Canon printer's model number should be displayed prominently on the top and/or front of the unit. Our model numbers typically begin with 2 or 3 letters (such as TS, TR, MX, MG, MB, MF, MP, LBP, iP, or iX) followed by up to 4 numbers. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, click HERE search our knowledge base or find additional support options HERE.

Thanks and have a great day!
