I have a new MF 267 that will turn on when it is in Energy Saving mode and I walk by. How do I prevent this?

Greetings,

As you can see from the product's instruction manual, Energy Saving Mode is turned on and off from the Energy Saver (moon) looking key on the printer's control panal.

The devce also has an auto sleep feature when can be set between 1~30 min of inactivity.

There is no sensor or mehanism that wakes the printer to human presence or proximity.

Thank you Shadowsports/Rick, That's what I thought but it's odd that it will turn on (sometimes) when I walk by. Not a biggie, it goes back to sleep right away ... just odd. I appreciate your response. Jim
