Hello dear Canon community,

Few weeks ago I have bought a Canon i-SENSYS MF643Cdw printer/scanner.

All the functions of the device are working fine, but I can't seem to get it to properly scan documents from ADF (feeder) directly to my laptop via Wi-Fi.

Whenever I place documents in the feeder, the priter recognizes the documents ("the original is in the feeder"), but as soon as I press the Scan by choosing any type of Scan preference, the device is "scanning" and eventually giving me an error of "An error occured" (attaching pictures below).

It doesn't seem like connectivity issue, since the device is printing without any issuses through Wi-Fi, and scanning from Canon MF Scan Utility works properly.

Also I managed to initiate ADF scan from printer's menu to my laptop via Wi-Fi a few times, but I was not able to find any correlation what exactly allowed me to do it.

The system is running on MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) / macOS Catalina.

What might cause the issue described above and what would be the possible workarounds to solve the problem?

Thank you for any input!
