Double sided printing

HELP! I just purchases a cannon MF743 Color laser printer. I am running a macbook air on catalina. I can't get the double sided printing to stop. I looked under what is supposed to be presets and it says two sided printing is off. HELP as I am trying to print douments that have to be filled out for business. It has to be single sided.

Hi AngDLD.

If the two-sided printing is occurring, even after two-sided printing has been unchecked in the upper part of the print window, check the print sub-menus, particularly the Layout sub-menu. If this is occurring with even the Layout submenu set to single-sided, then the printer will need to be removed and then reinstalled using Canon's drivers (available free of charge HERE).
