Hi,

Problem: I'm running Windows 8.1 on my Lenovo X240 and printing to my Canon MF4890dw wirelessly using my D-LINK DIR-615 (Hardware Version B2, Firmware Version 2.23). I can succesfully print wirelessly from my computer but there are times were I get printing error messages. When I check the MF4890dw printer queue, my print job has a "Error - Printing" status. I notice that I get this error after I successfuly send 1-2 print jobs. What I observe is that the previous 1-2 print jobs have a status = "Sent to printer" that does not clear the printer queue. Could this be causing the problem???? Attached is a screenshot of my erroneous scenario.

Current Workarounds:

#1 - I reboot my computer. After Windows boots up, the erroneous print job "sometimes" prints automatically. If it doesn't I send the print job again to the printer.

#2 - I delete the print job that errored out. I power down my router and printer (in that order). Then I power up my router and printer (in that order). I send the print job again to the printer.

Please advise given this is very frustrating and that this Canon printer is not meeting my expectations.
