    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi chinc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When installing, are you askng Windows to search for the driver on the web, or are you browsing manually to select the driver?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;From the Readme:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To Install the Printer/Fax/Scanner Drivers Using a USB Connection:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1. Connect the machine to your computer using a USB cable.&lt;BR /&gt;2. When the [Found New Hardware] dialog box appears, click&lt;BR /&gt;[Locate and install driver software (recommended)].&lt;BR /&gt;3. On the [Allow Windows to search online for driver software for&lt;BR /&gt;your &amp;lt;name of printer&amp;gt;?] screen, click [Don't search online].&lt;BR /&gt;4. On the [Insert the disc that came with your &amp;lt;name of printer&amp;gt;]&lt;BR /&gt;screen, click [I don't have the disc. Show me other options.]&lt;BR /&gt;5. On the [Windows couldn't find driver software for your device]&lt;BR /&gt;screen, click [Browse my computer for driver software&lt;BR /&gt;(advanced)].&lt;BR /&gt;6. On the [Browse for driver software on your computer] screen,&lt;BR /&gt;click [Browse] to specify where you saved the&lt;BR /&gt;[x64\DRIVERS\&amp;lt;name of language&amp;gt;] folder, and then click [Next].&lt;BR /&gt;7. Installation will begin. When the [The software for this&lt;BR /&gt;device has been successfully installed] screen appears, click&lt;BR /&gt;[Close].&lt;BR /&gt;8. Connect the machine to the network.&lt;BR /&gt;2. From the computers [Start] menu, click [Control Panel], click&lt;BR /&gt;[Hardware and Sound], and then click [Printer].&lt;BR /&gt;3. In the [Printers] folder, click [Add a printer].&lt;BR /&gt;4. When the [Add printer] dialog box appears, click [Add a local&lt;BR /&gt;printer].&lt;BR /&gt;5. On the [Choose a printer port] screen, click [Create a new&lt;BR /&gt;port], select [Standard TCP/IP Port], and then click [Next].&lt;BR /&gt;6. On the [Type a printer hostname or IP address] screen, enter&lt;BR /&gt;the IP address that you have set to the printer into the&lt;BR /&gt;[Hostname or IP address] field, and then click [Next].&lt;BR /&gt;7. On the [Install the printer driver] screen, click [Have Disk].&lt;BR /&gt;8.       <description>&lt;P&gt;My&amp;nbsp; laser printer MF5750 is working well with Windows XP.&amp;nbsp; Recently I installed Windows 10 and want MF5750 0n it.&amp;nbsp; Frpm Canon web site I downloaded driver "MF5730-5750 MF Drivers W64_esEN" and installed it&amp;nbsp; in folder windows / system32 / drivers. After loading the files iand restarting the computer, I am getting "driver not installed " message. I tried various methods of installing the driver and getting the same error message.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can someone help me to fix this problem please. My Windows 10&amp;nbsp; is 64bit.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Rick&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you for your response with the attachment.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My printer works on Windows XP operating system (32bit). Difficulty I have is to make it to work on Windows 10&amp;nbsp; 64bit operating system.&amp;nbsp; On&amp;nbsp; Canon web site a printer driver for Windows10 64 bit is available which I installed in folder Windows/system32/driver lin my computer. I am getting the error message "the driver is not installed". I am not clear whether the reason for this message is an error in tha problem or something I am not doing correctly. Note, when I was installing Windows 10 driver I disconnected the printer USB cable.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
