    <description>&lt;P&gt;When I try to scan from the printer to an email in the address book, it give me the error that "Email/I-Fax setting are not configured in the Remote UI".&amp;nbsp; I have logged into the remote UI and check all the settings that I can, but I still can not get it to work correctly, it keeps giving me the same message.&amp;nbsp; What am I missing?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi zancall.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Try using the printer's interface &lt;U&gt;&lt;FONT color="#0000FF"&gt;&lt;A href="https://oip.manual.canon/USRMA-3547-zz-SSM-740-enUS/contents/devu-setup-nw-ip-ipv4.html#0116_h2_02" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;to ping the mail server's IP address&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/U&gt;.&amp;nbsp; If you're unable to ping the mail server IP, then the network is not allowing the two to communicate; check the security settings on the router.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you can ping the mail server, next ensure the correct Port Number is set on the printer for your mail service. Refer to the mail service for the recommended protocol type and port number.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If on WiFi, also check the printer's signal strength. It should be Good or above.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did this answer your question?
