      <description>&lt;P&gt;Greetings,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Since its brand new.&amp;nbsp; I'd check the ADF for a piece&amp;nbsp;of shipping or packing material.&amp;nbsp; If I didn't find anything&amp;nbsp;I'd exchange it with the retailer.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;OK i pick up platetop lid, and cleaned as stated earlier, there is an inch wide plastic piece (I assume it helps hold center of paper flat?) I gently lifted and wiped under with tissue and warm water. I assume there is nothing else I can do?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
