My color imageclass mf733cdw has some wires sticking out of back near the top, and I don't know what purpose they serve. Coincidentally my document feeder doesn't work, so there may be some relation between the two issues.

It plugs into something. Suggest you figure out what. Maybe your ADF will start working.

I looked and couldn't find a place to plug it into. I might have to take it to a repair shop. I will look online and see if there is an authorized repair center within 100 miles. I live in a rural area.

I am not aware of any optional accessory where somethng like this would connect. This is also not something that might come lose on its own. Hope you figure it out.

The nearest place I can take it is a Best Buy store about 50 miles away. I didn’t buy it from them, so I hope they don’t hassle me about. I will call before I make the trip.
