Fax setup

Just purchased the mf743cdw and went through setup. Must have done it wrong as fax answers everytime. Just the one line. I had previous set up to only answer/respond to fax tone after phone and answering machine. How do I go back to reset fax settings? Hey, I'm a senior and slow at it.

I changed the setting from auto to manual and it seems ok.

How do you set the Canon MF743Cdw back to the initial setup? I would like to reset all.

I believe that process is called "Initialize".

You can reset indivudual options or all settings by selecting <Initialize All>

You should restart after doing this. Keep in mind you will need to go through the set up process again before you can use the device.
