iPad Can't Print to PIXMA TR150 without me waking up the printer using Wireless Direct

Must I manually WAKE UP my Canon TR150 EVERY TIME before I print directly wirelessly from my iPad? If I do not wake up the printer, printing always fails as the printer never wakes up... Have tried every setting change - the printer falls asleep within 5 minutes REGARDLESS of any settings changes telling it to sleep in 15 or 30 or whatever. Do I have a bum printer?

Please use the steps HERE and let us know what the printer currently has set for Auto Power ON and Auto Power Off.
