Ivy Cliq+ cannot remove micro sd card; stuck in slot

I inserted a new microSD card into the Cliq+ and it is now stuck inside.

Pressing on it again is not releasing the card like it used to.

How can I remove the card?

Does the camera indicate that the card is in and functioning? If not, did you insert the card upside-down? Typically this would make it hard/impossible to insert it without some force.

If that's the case, you have to grab onto it with a plier and pull it out, or use a small screwdriver to pry it out. Either way, hopefully the card holder is not damaged.

I did not insert it upside down or reversed.
How can you tell if the card is functioning without removing it?

Huh? You can't tell if it is functioning if it's not in the Cliq. You CAN tell if it is functioning if the Cliq works and does whatever it is supposed to do with the memory card. You know what that is, not me.

The Cliq works with or without the memory card, it's not a requirement.

Look, it's your Cliq. I don't own one. The memory card must serve some use. I'd guess it's to store pictures. Whatever that use is, see if it works. Simple.
