Canon Ivy Cliq+2 white light turns blue when switched on

When I hold and power on the Canon ivy cliq+2 the LED lights up in white and then it turns blue. I've tried it both with the blue sheet and paper loaded and without, both having the same white light first then blue. It does not detect the blue sheet at all. I have also tried to reset the camera twice. Does anybody know of a way to troubleshoot this?
