      <title>Not printing Black - Pixma iP110</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Printer not printing black. Color ink is ok, but not real clear. Changed black ink cartridge and still not printing black. What should I do?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please do the following steps on your printer to perform a nozzle cleaning:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Make sure that the power is turned on.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hold down the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;RESUME/CANCEL&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;button until the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;POWER&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;lamp flashes once, then release it immediately.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The printer starts cleaning the print head.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The cleaning will be complete when the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;POWER&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;lamp lights after flashing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do not perform any other operations until the printer completes the cleaning of the print head. This takes about 1 to 2 minutes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Check the print head condition.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once the nozzle cleaning is done, please do the following to print a nozzle check:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Load a sheet of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper in the rear tray.&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Set the paper thickness lever to the right.&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hold down the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;RESUME/CANCEL&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;button until the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;POWER&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;lamp flashes twice, then release it immediately.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The nozzle check pattern will be printed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do not perform any other operations until the printer completes the printing of the nozzle check pattern.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;To see a sample of a correct nozzle check, please click &lt;A href="https://support.usa.canon.com/infocenter/index?page=content&amp;amp;id=ART117456" target="_self"&gt;HERE&lt;/A&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Did this answer your question?
