I purchased a SELPHY CP1200. When preparing our house for a paint job, I packed it away, unopened. I thought it was lost forever or thrown out, but I found it in a box in a closet. I followed the directions to use it and guess what? I can't get the menu to come up. All I see is the Canon open screen. Reading some answers about this, this appears to be a common problem through the years, yet no one has an answer except to unplug it, wait, replug it and turn it on again. Didn't work. Can't contact any support because, I guess, it's too old for anyone to care about.

This is the last time I'm going to buy a Canon product since obviously they don't seem to care. It may be an easy fix, but who knows? It's in perfect condition otherwise. Anyone have any luck?
