&lt;P&gt;I recommend performing a reset of the printer. While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer. While the power is off, press the power button 5 times. After 60 seconds plug the power cord back in and power on the printer.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If the issue persists, the printer would require service due to an internal hardware issue.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Same here. I just got CP 1300 and the same issue. I was going to buy brand new CP1500 and wanted to try CP 1300 first but now I won't bother as Canon obviously produces faulty printers. Google the issue we are not alone here.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The only way they say to reset is through power cycle, this never works with CP 1300 printers as they have a factory defect, they should recall this printer.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;It would appear that your SELPHY CP1300 may require service.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;To obtain service, click on Service &amp;amp; Support on the left side of your My Canon account.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;On the next page, click on the red Get Service &amp;amp; Support button to the right of your SELPHY CP1300.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Then on the page that appears, scroll down and click on the Start Repair button and follow the prompts to schedule repair.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
