What's best practice for calibrating a Selphy CP1500 to MacOS display monitors?

Computer side: I cannot find anything like a "printer color profile" to edit for the Selphy in printer settings of MacOS.

Printer side: Printer ignores all of the manual image adjustments I make on the printer front panel, when printing from MacOS (color +/-, brightness +/-, etc.).

This leaves me with creating some kind of filter in Photoshop to apply to each photo before I print, in order to get an image roughly calibrated to my display monitors, which would be a pain.
