Forum software broken

First things first. I clicked "me to" on a topic with describes the problem that drove me to find this forum. Since it insisted, I registered. Since I'm desperate, I broke usual policy and answered the capcha.

Having done that, the software said I cannot "ME TOO" my own topic.

Get real.

I don't consider it broken. I'm an Admin on two different forums and both use the "Thanks" feature instead of the "Me Too," but in essence it's the same thing. Anyway, our forums, and pretty much all other forums I've ever visited, don't allow a member to give themselves Thanks and/or Me Too because of the tendency for people to abuse the feature.
