&lt;P&gt;Nerdzweb - No idea about this entity, but it's not in any way affiliated with Canon.&amp;nbsp; If they installed on anything on your system, or you allowed them remote access,&amp;nbsp; your system could be compromised.&amp;nbsp; Sorry this happened to you.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I would thoroughly check my system for any unknown applications or processes.&amp;nbsp; If you're not comfortable doing this, enlist the help of somebody who is.&amp;nbsp; If this system is used for accessing Your financial institution or conducting any type of business it could be at risk.&amp;nbsp; You'll have to make that determination.&amp;nbsp; Unfortunately the internet is full of bad actors.&amp;nbsp; Identity theft is real.&amp;nbsp; It can happen when you least expect it.&amp;nbsp; My advice is don't gamble, make sure your system is secure.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Suspicions about Third Party Help</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So I was not thinking clearly. Thought I went to a Canon help site for reconnecting my printer after changing wireless suppliers. The website looked officially. A Char box opened asking for my name and phone number. Got phone call. The number traced back to NERZWEB. &amp;nbsp;They connected remotely and started &amp;nbsp;working on the printer. &amp;nbsp;I got nervous and disconnected the computer from internet.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Anyone else have experience with this? Anyone heard of NERDZWEB as third party vendor to Canon?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;any help would be appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;
