Read some where that Apple is developing or developed a photo processor. Has anybody else heard or seen that information?

Yes, it was called Aperture and it was discontinued in 2015. I haven't heard anything about a new version or app from Apple.

Apple has purchased Pixelmator and released some enhancements.

Thank you for this information. Initial impression is the lack of usage for photography processing.
