I got a collaboration email from a person called Mia,

offering a collaboration for Youtube with suspicious files.

Can you confirm whether this is from Canon? thanks.

This is not from Canon. The best thing to do is delete it.

Hi, yewon347! We can confirm that that email did not come from Canon USA as the email address shows a domain name that we don't use. Official correspondence from Canon USA would come from an email address ending in "...canon.com". We recommend disregarding this email.

Actually the best thing to do is report it as junk mail or spam. That way it is helps the email domain’s spam filters and algorithms to sort those types of emails better.

When I got my first computer decades ago, my son said if I don't know the sender, don't open it and delete it.

If I claimed all the laptops, tools, etc., that I have won online, I would need to rent a warehouse.

It's a scam to highjack your YouTube account and channel. Others have been caught out by this. Delete it!
