It's most likely that you have two separate credentials for those accounts depending upon when you created them.

That's how my accounts are set up as well. So when resetting the password, be sure you're resetting the one for usa.canon.com and not the one for myid.canon.com .

Note: It's possible that for others these accounts share the same set of credentials. I don't know offhand how to merge those accounts together.

I can't login to usa.canon.com. My login works fine for myid.canon.com, but not for usa.canon.com.

When I try to login to usa.canon.com I get "The email address or password you provided is incorrect. Please try entering this information again."

I already successfully reset my password 3 times, but still can't login. What puzzles me it that login to myid.canon.com works fine. It works fine to login with camera connect app as well.

Can anyone help?

Thanks Rick for the advice on the 2 accounts being separate. It explains why I can login on one but not the other.

My issue with usa.canon.com still remains though. I did reset the password in the correct domain and yet I can't access. (weirdly it allows me to reset it successfully)

I was having that problem and the only way I could fix it was to switch from Firefox to another browser. When I switched I was able to sign in with no problems.

Hi Far-Out-Dude, just tried your suggestion with no success.

I did try a new browser that I installed new, as well as deleting all cookies and data on the canon domain on my previous browser. None resolved the problem, I even tried resetting my password one more time on the new browser. After receiving the link and getting confirmation on the password reset I still get the same message: "The email address or password you provided is incorrect. Please try entering this information again."

Note: I actually tried it on Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Edge

Real sorry that did not work. Is your anti-virus blocking it maybe? I am not smart enough to tell you how to check that, but I know it has happened to friends on other sites and when they set the site as and "Exception" I think it was call they were able to get in. Sure hope you figure it out. I have to head to bed, going to try to photograph some turkey in the morning.

What I'm thinking is that maybe the reset password option isn't really resetting my password for some reason. Maybe I need help from someone from Canon?

How do I engage with someone from Canon? or tag them here?

I have some equipment registered to my account and some more on the way that I'd like to either register to this account.

I can't go into specifics, but I did a name search based on your username, and I found what appears to be two possible accounts with different email addresses.

Depending on what is actually happening, support might need to open a ticket with OUR support so they can work some magic and get everything sorted out.

I recommend calling Support so they can help you figure this out. Support is at 1-800-OK-CANON (800-652-2666), weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (ET).

Hi Stephen, that's correct I do have 2 accounts. One is my personal account and the other is the one I got from work related discounts via the beneplace program. The work email address is working fine. It's the account with my personal gmail address I'm trying to recover. Does this help you or should I still be calling the 800 number?
