Anyone Else Using Their Photography in Web Projects?

Hi everyone,

We’ve noticed that more and more web projects are demanding original visuals instead of relying solely on stock photos. As someone working in website development in Dallas, photography has become an unexpected but essential part of the creative process—especially when trying to build websites that feel personal, authentic, and high-quality.

Canon gear has really helped us elevate the look and feel of client sites, whether it's through clean product shots, branded visuals, or even subtle background textures. Just curious—are there others here who bring their photography into their web or design work? Would love to hear how you balance the two.

I'm seeing the same trend, most of the Corporate Brochures I used to shoot for print, have now migrated to jpeg for a website! Good Question!

Actually it's been headed this way for a while. A few of my clients were shifting this way 15 years ago... wanted less prints, and far less stock images, and started asking us photographers to submit files for web use instead of print only.
