Thank you, I eventually found the way...I called Canon. They were not open when I posted this and needed to print some labels. You're explanation is very good. Thanks again.

I just got an MF 4770 and all I see is copy, fax and scan on the front. How do I get it to print?

Also, how do I choose a printer when I don't see an icon in the dock? Where do I choose it from.

I have already dowloaded and installed the two drivers... now I'm stuck and there is NOTHING in the manual about this. They don't even mention printing. How is that even possible?

I'm on a Mac 10.9.4

You print from an application. You scan, copy, fax from the printer.

Have you opened a document on the Mac or an email message in Mail and tried to print?

You can verify that the printer is installed properly by going to Applications>System Preferences>Printers & Scanners
