Just connect your Note directly to your 6D. 6D will act as a wi-fi hot spot, you just need to connect to it. I connect a Canon 6D to a Samsung Galaxy Note 3's mobile hotspot provided by TMobile. I download the EOS remote app, but it seems that this application does not work with mobile hotspot connection or probably it is an issue with the configuration connectivity. I am able to pair the 6D camera with my cellular but the app does not recognize the connection; it always says: "Wi-fi is not activated on the smartphone".
