topic D70 manual settings with studio flash in General Discussion

I have a D70 and wish to use it with Bowen flash units with a remote wireless trigger. This is not the problem as I have two triggers both of which work fine. The problem is with the camera, I only ever use manual settings and keep losing the LCD display as I focus with the trigger attached. The image holds if the flash is open, but that is no good to me. Does anybody please know how I can hold the LCD display in the studio using manual settings.
