Hi Randy-M!

You mentioned a negative document which I am confused about what this is for. If you are referring to negative slide or film strip, then unfortunately, the PIXMA MG6120 does not have the ability to scan film. Can you please describe the document you are trying to scan and convert?

The software that is included with our PIXMA MG6120, MP Navigator, does not have the ability to convert a negative document to a positive document. What you would need is an image editing software package to convert the shadesfor you. Something like Photoshop or another powerful image editing software package should be able to handle this for you.
