    <description>&lt;P&gt;I see that there is no forum for Canon scanners so I'll try this one. My 8800 F has worked faithfully for years. This morning I turned it on and, after a lot of lights and whirring noises (which is normal), it turned itself off. Has the scanner come to the end of its life or is there a fix?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
