Need Canon to release ICA drivers for Canon DR-C225 scanner on Mac OS X Sierra

I've got an end user running a Mac mini with Mac OS X Sierra that just bought a Canon DR-C225 scanner on my recommendation.

The included Capture OnTouch application works fine with the TWAIN driver provided by Canon, but they have a need to use Adobe Acrobat Pro for document management, and Acrobat says that it needs an ICA driver instead of TWAIN.

Canon, please release an ICA driver for the Canon DR-C225 scanner on Mac OS X Sierra and/or El Capitan.
