Canon CanoScan Lide 300 scanner : Mac compatibility

Hi,

I have a new iMac--OS Catalina v10.15.6

Am interested in purchasing the CanoScan Lide 300 scanner but when reading throught the specs, I see OS compatibility: macOS® X v10.11 - macOS v10.13 (High Sierra)

Did a google search for "compatible scanners OSCatalina" and the CanoScan Lide 300 pops up as a recommendation. Who do I believe???

Before I order it, I am hoping this community can guide me-- thumbs up or thumbs down? Will it work for me?
