It wont let me call in for customer support, says my phone # is not registered but in registering it never asks for a #

When you register at https://canon.us/account, your phone number will be a required field. When you call us for support, you'll need to call from the same phone number that appears in your registration to get through to a support representative, so please make sure the numbers match. You can change your number at any time if you need to.

Registration would usually be done at canon.us/account for your My Canon Account.

Your phone number should be a required field during the registration process. It will be included with all of your other personal info, and should be the number you'll be calling from whenever you require support.

You can see your personal information from within your My Canon Account by clicking "My Profile" toward the top (once you're logged in).
