    <description>&lt;P&gt;Also have a look at &lt;A href="http://strobist.blogspot.com.au/2006/03/lighting-101.html" target="_self"&gt;THIS&lt;/A&gt; website, it has comprehensive tutorials. Flash is not easy and requires a lot of practice and experimenting. Don't be turned off because it can be a bit frustrating and daunting when you first start. Just keep at it and you will get it right.With flash the old saying practice makes perfect is quite right.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Batteries can be a bit of a hassle (and expensive) so buy good rechargeables. I use Sanyo Eneloops, they keep their charge longer when sitting dormant in my bag. Also a good smart charger like the Maha one &lt;A href="http://www.mahaenergy.com/store/viewItem.asp?idProduct=423" target="_self"&gt;HERE&lt;/A&gt; is well worth it. I know it may seem like a lot of money to start out but if you are serious about using flash a lot these items will save you money in the long term.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've been playing around with shooting at night.&amp;nbsp; Exposing for the ambient light&amp;nbsp;to capture the moon, tree shadows,and flashing for the portrait.&amp;nbsp; Can't seem to get my flash duration short enough to not burn the portrait.&amp;nbsp; Any suggestions?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
