Canon R6 CLOG 3 File Format

What file format is used for CLOG 3? I'm a complete newbie to recording video using CLOG 3 and I noticed on my R6 that the file format is .MP4. I thought it was supposed to be something different.

Keeping things brief, Canon Log (CLog2, CLog3) is a gamma curve that helps you capture a higher dynamic range.

The actual codec that is used to compress the video as it's written to your camer's media is MPEG4 (file extension of .mp4).
