v1.8.0 was removed for investigation. I don't have any feedback. If you have the file, but have not upgraded, please wait until Canon gives the green light. I believe an updated revision will be released shortly

Thank you shadowsports for the information. Do you know what the game-plan is for those of us who have already loaded and installed version 1.8 on the R6?

No action is needed at this time. Continue to use your camera normally. Canon will notify everyone once it has concluded its investigation.
