I have a Canon T4i, I heard somewhere that the camera will take 3 pictues with 3 different setting at one time. Can anyone give me help with as I would like to try this feature out?

Check your manual. You are looking for the instructions for "bracketing"

There's a learning curve to EVERY camera, and the manual is our friend but sometimes knowing the correct name for a specific instruction is frustrating for those who are new to photography & it's language.
