I've been shooting video with this camera for about a year. Maybe once a month. I have no formal training; I apologize in advance for a novice / elementary question.

I video in portrait mode for Facebook and Instagram Reels. I probably should just do this with my phone but I currently have an Android and I'm not impressed with its camera settings / functions.
I transfer the videos to my phone via the Canon app or to my computer using the SD card. Unfortunately, the video is always rotated incorrectly (tipped on its side). I have to correct the rotation in post production.

Is there a way to set up the EOS 6D Mark II so it will automatically rotate the portrait video for me. This will save me the step of rotating in post production.

Thanks in advance,
Joe M

It is NOT possible to rotate video in camera. The camera CAN rotate stills in camera though.

-Demetrius

Current Gear: EOS 5D Mark IV, EF 16-35mm F/2.8L III USM, EF 24-70mm F/2.8L II USM, EF 50 F/1.8 STM, EF 85mm F/1.8 USM, EF 70-200mm F/2.8L IS III USM, 470EX-AI & 600EX II-RT

Retired Gear: EOS 40D & Sigma 17-50mm F/2.8 EX DC OS HSM
