EOS 700D AEB Mode Only Produces 2 Pictures Instead of 3

When I set my camera to the aeb mode I only get two pictures , why don’t I get 3 ! Camera is a 700d

You press the shutter button three times but only two images are recorded?

It’s meant to take 3 shots automatically but I only get 2
